Washington families: Tom Olson will serve as Washington's new principal, beginning this fall! Tom has been the assistant principal at Franklin Elementary School for the last five years. Before that, his administrative experience was at Mayo High School, where he served as the lead principal. He was also a K-12 physical education teacher in Rochester before becoming an administrator.
Tom has experience working with districtwide option programs and student support service programs. While there are many similarities between his current location and Washington, Tom looks forward to getting to know the students, families, and staff at Washington.
Tom will begin his new position on July 1 and offer opportunities for a meet and greet before the new school year. Please help us welcome Tom to the Washington family!
